“The best decision I’ve ever made in my life was the first time I decided to pursue my study in Magister Sastra, Petra Christian University (PCU), especially after I had been away from academic world for almost 20 years (I graduated for my Bachelor Degree in 2001). Of course, it was not easy at first, I had to struggle to write papers and learn new knowledge which sounded unfamiliar to me.
However, these last 2 years were very meaningful to me. I really enjoyed the classes, the programs, the warmth of the lecturers and classmates, and everything. I got so many valuable experiences, insightful knowledge, and unforgettable good memories which broaden my horizon. I feel so lucky and blessed to have the opportunity to study in Magister Sastra, PCU, and be a part of this family, a place where I can find my passion and “true love” in writing fiction stories and learning more about Chinese Indonesian culture. I can make my dreams come true here. Now that I’ve graduated doesn’t mean the end, but it’s the beginning of my my life as the new me, the better version of myself. With the things I learned from Magister Sastra, PCU, I’m sure I can conquer the world.”
